Every
believer has a divine destiny, every saint has
a special call to ministry, and every Christian
organization has an identity and mission which
has been given to them by God.
Our mission is seen, understood and lived out in our primary purposes:
• To lift up the name of Jesus Christ.
• To bring unity to the Body of Christ.
• To evangelize Rhode Island through theatre, music,
and the performing arts.
• To give the mercy of God to the poor, the hurting, the needy,
the sick and the lost.
• To provide nurture which allows people to experience God's
Truth, Mercy and Power.
• To help people see the Kingdom of God as their real home;
speaking His words and doing His work.

STATEMENT
OF FAITH
We
believe in the existence of God to be self-evident,
and confess the
Christian Scriptures to be the revelation of God. Further, we believe
they
were verbally inspired, and infallible in the original manuscripts;
we
confess to the Verbal-Plenary inspiration of Scripture. We believe
the
Scriptures to be the final authority of our faith and practice.
We believe in One, Eternal, Triune, Self-existing God. We believe
the Trinity
consists of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We
believe they are One; One in essence; One in nature; One in attributes;
and
together are to be worshipped and glorified.
We believe that God the Son became incarnate of the Holy Spirit of
the
Virgin Mary, and was made Son of Man. We believe in His sinless life,
in His
death in our place on the cross, His shed blood to atone for our
sins, His
burial and resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of God the
Father,
and in His personal and imminent return.
We believe in the Holy Spirit who is the Lord and Giver of Life,
who is the
guarantee of our salvation, the Giver of all spiritual gifts, our
Comforter, our
Teacher, and who empowers us to live a holy life of service in the
ministry
of reconciliation to the glory of God.
We believe that mankind is a creation of God, and that the original
parents
were created in the image of God, as such were righteous, and without
sin.
That Adam, by his own free will, rebelled against God, and as a result,
death
passed upon Adam and his posterity. By this we believe that all human
beings are born in sin, and we are under God's condemnation.
We believe the church is the living Body of Christ, who is the Head.
It is
composed of those who by faith in the finished work of God at Calvary,
have
turned from their sin, who have been born anew and baptized by the
Holy
Spirit, reconciled to God and given the ministry of reconciliation.
We
believe in the ordinance of the Lord's Supper, to celebrate his death
until
He comes.
We believe in the immanent physical return of Jesus Christ, the bodily
resurrection of the just and unjust, the just to the blessedness
of
everlasting life in fellowship with our Lord who is the Resurrection
and the
Life, the unjust to the suffering of everlasting death in Hell which
was
prepared by God for Satan and all rebellious beings.
